A three-week course · in person

Meditation for busy people.

Three weeks to build a practice that actually holds.

We will explore the pillars of meditation. Each week we will explore different types of meditation — breath as the foundation, but also focus, sound and movement — enabling you to feel comfortable taking a meditation that works for you back into your busy life.

Wednesdays from 5 August · 3 weeks 7.45–9.15pm Zen Yoga, Camberwell Max 12 places £60 · or £25 a week

What the course includes

Three 90-minute evenings, held in sequence, so the practice can settle and deepen week on week. No prior experience needed. No cross-legged purism — just clear, secular meditation that translates into the rhythm of a busy life.

Although the course builds each week, every session begins with a recap of what has gone before, so you can still benefit even if you are not able to make the whole programme.

Questions

What you might want to know

Who is this course for?

It's for anyone who wants a meditation practice that fits real life. You might be a senior leader, a working parent, or simply someone who has tried apps and wants more structure. Absolute beginners are very welcome — we build from the ground up.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself. Mats, cushions and blankets are provided at the studio. Wear whatever you can sit and move comfortably in.

Accessibility and physical comfort

The studio is light, air-conditioned and step-free. You can sit on a chair, cushion or mat — whichever works for your body. Movement practice is gentle and always optional. If you have specific needs, mention them in the notes when you book and Janine will be in touch.

How do the downloadable meditations work?

After each session you will receive a guided meditation to use during the week. These are short, practical recordings — usually 5–15 minutes — so you can keep the practice alive between classes and after the course ends. They arrive by email with a private link.

Janine La Rosa, meditation teacher and leadership coach

Your instructor

Janine La Rosa

Janine is a qualified meditation teacher, breathwork and grounding practitioner, and Henley-trained executive coach. She still works in a C-suite role today, so she understands the reality of busy minds and full diaries.

Her approach is secular, practical and grounded in the evidence-based and contemplative traditions that sit behind her doctoral research. She teaches meditation as something you can take back into the meeting, the commute, and the kitchen — not just the cushion.
